Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. This page explains how we use cookies and other tracking technologies on this site, including Google Analytics, and how you can manage or withdraw consent.

Cookies & Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site and to improve the content and experience. We implement GA4 using Consent Mode v2 to comply with EU regulations.

What we send to Google — before and after consent

The GA4 script is always loaded on the site. What it sends to Google depends on your consent choice:

  • Before you decide / after Reject: GA4 sends a cookieless, anonymous "ping" to Google. This ping contains no personal data, sets no cookies, and cannot be used to identify or track you. Google uses these anonymous pings only for aggregate statistical modelling (e.g. estimating total visitor counts). Your IP address is not stored.
  • After Accept: GA4 sets analytics cookies in your browser and sends standard analytics data — pages visited, time on site, approximate location (country/city), browser type, and device type. This data is used to understand how people use the site and to improve content.

The following consent signals are set when the page loads and are passed to Google before any data is sent:

  • analytics_storage: denied by default, granted on Accept
  • ad_storage: always denied — we do not run ads
  • ad_user_data: always denied
  • ad_personalization: always denied

Consent before tracking

The cookie banner offers two equal choices: Accept and Reject. Your choice is stored locally in your browser (via localStorage) and is never sent to our servers.

Manage consent

Changing your analytics preferences can be done at any time via the link in the footer called "Manage cookies". After clicking, a pop-up appears where you can manage and change your consent.

Your data

When you subscribe to our newsletter your data will be stored in the EU region. After subscribing, you will get an email confirming this action. If subscribing was a mistake, or if you do not want to receive emails anymore: refer to one of the emails received: an unsubscribe link is always present. Your email adresses will not be sold or used for any other purposes.
